Skating into Xanadu

Xanadu, produced by Matthew Management, marks Ainsley’s debut at the Hayes Theatre. Until now, Ainsley has been performing as a member of the popular children’s entertainment group Hi-5, travelling the globe and starring in the televised series. Now, Ainsley returns to Australia to lead the company of Xanadu as Sonny Malone alongside Jaimie Hadwen as Kira.

Xanadu, based on the cult movie of the same name starring Olivia Newton John, is most famously performed on roller skates. For his roll in the show, Ainsley—along with his fellow cast members—will learn how to sing, dance, and act on wheels.

The production will play at the Hayes Theatre for a limited run throughout June/July 2016.
